For the fifth year running, Ruddington is to benefit from a Boxing Day bus service. The good news has been revealed by Nottingham City Transport in its timetables for the festive period – with our Green 10 service running up to every half an hour throughout the day.
Marketing Manager, Anthony Carver-Smith explains: “The early start and frequency of our Boxing Day service helps retail workers travel into the city for their shift, and shoppers get to spend those Christmas gift vouchers burning a hole in their pocket!”
In terms of our Ruddington buses, the Christmas holiday services for your commute, shopping or #RuddyGoodDayOut will run as follows:
CHRISTMAS EVE:
A normal Sunday service but with an earlier finish for the Green 10…
Navy 3 – Last bus from City at 5.45pm. Last bus from Clifton 5.02pm.
Green 10 – Last bus from City at 7.05pm. Last bus from Ruddington 7.37pm.
CHRISTMAS DAY:
No buses.
BOXING DAY:
Navy 3 – No service.
Green 10 – From Ruddington: 6.17am, 7.17am, 8:17am then every 30 minutes until 5.17pm.
Green 10 – To Ruddington: 6.45am, 7.45am, 8.45am then every 30 minutes until 5.45pm.
WEDNESDAY 27th TO SATURDAY 30th DECEMBER:
A Saturday Service on the Navy 3 and Green 10.
The N48 NightBus will run on Friday & Saturday as usual.
NEW YEAR’S EVE:
A normal Sunday service but with an earlier finish for the Green 10…
Navy 3 – Last bus from City at 5.45pm. Last bus from Clifton 5.02pm.
Green 10 – Last bus from City at 7.05pm. Last bus from Ruddington 7.37pm.
N48 Buses back from the City at 11.15pm, 12.15am, 1.15am, 2.15am and 03.15am.
NEW YEAR’S DAY:
No buses.
TUESDAY 2nd JANUARY:
Normal bus services resume.
