Update on our Village Plan

You may remember that something of a milestone was reached last summer with the publication of the definitive Ruddington Village Plan –  your vision for how our village should develop over the next 5 to 10 years. This final version of the Plan was launched in August at the 2017 Ruddington “Summer Fayre” by RVP steering group volunteers (top photo) when villagers could pick up a printed copy of the completed document, ask questions and volunteer themselves for projects flagged up by four years of research. Neighbourhood Plan Gets Approval

Ruddington Parish Council has given its backing to a new plan which, it’s claimed, will give village residents direct power to develop a shared vision for their neighbourhood – and shape the development and growth of our local area. It’s expected to pick up directly from our Ruddington Village Plan which was published this summer. Village Plan Out Soon

It’s been announced that another milestone will be reached this summer with the publication of the final Ruddington Village Plan –  your vision for how our village should develop over the next 5 to 10 years. Originally begun in 2013, the Village Plan has been painstakingly formulated by an independent steering group made up of around twenty volunteers who live and/or work in Ruddington alongside up to three Ruddington Parish Council representatives.
